Using the Wireframe & Mesh Sections

The Wireframe Section displays:

  • The count of Lines in the selected geometry (Note that Lines are 3D wireframe, which is different from Edges that are Triangles boundaries on Meshes).
  • The combined Length of all Lines in meters.

The Mesh Section displays:

  • The Triangles count
  • The Splinters: Triangles which have at least one Edge with a Length inferior to Pango computation distance tolerance.
  • The Vertices count, showing numbered call outs as an overlay
  • The Edges count, drawing all edges in overlay, with Sharp Edges traced with a Thicker pen; While the Edges are toggled on Pango can also calculate:
    • Open Edges: that belong to a single Triangle
    • Flipped Edges: where the two Triangle sharing the edge have opposing directions of normals (invalid surface)
