Creating a BIMCollab DataSource

Use the Projects Tree or the Project Configuration dialogue to Create or Edit a new BIMCollab DataSource

Configuring the BIMCollab DataSource

To setup an BIMCollab DataSource:

• Under Configuration enter the Workspace Url of your company site, e.g. https://stripedhorse.bimcollab.com/
• That's it!

Configuring the BIMCollab DataView(s)

To create a new DataView, from the DataSource Data Views tab click the New DataView button. Refer to the section Configuring a DataView for more ways to create and edit DataViews.

• Select a Project from the list. If the Project you are looking for is not visible, contact your BIMCollab admin to ensure that you have sufficient access
• Choose whether to fetch Thumbnails (this can be quite slow)

Drag & Drop Quick-Configuration

BIMollab supports drag & drop configuration: From your web browser, select the URL, drag the selected text on top of the Projects Tree and drop. The DataSource and DataView are automatically configured and loaded with the default BIMCollab project.
