Running the Stand Alone version of BimSens is intended to provide a quick access to the data in a consistent user experience.


YOUR DATA WITH NO 3D SKILLS


In Stand Alone mode BimSens still provides all the functionality associated with the DataSource and DataView to read data, edit values, run data transfers, and custom actions such as insert and delete or store procedure execution on SQL servers for instance.


Since release 3.6 the Stand Alone app includes a built-in 3D viewer linked to BIMWatcher, allowing visualisation of nwd and nwc models without Autodesk Navisworks, leveraging Colour Filter, Data Transfer and all 3D interactions.

To activate the viewer, choose a window position from the viewer menu .

If you do not have a BIMWatcher Workspace or Studio, you can use the free Lab to visualise your models.
