Multiple conditions in ID Match

When do I need a Complex ID Match

When the 3D model is federated from multiple packages (Revit, Tekla, PDMS, Microstation etc.) the model property to use in the ID Match can have different name for each model. For that scenario, you can create complex ID Match, with multiple conditions and groups of conditions.

Complex ID Match

ID Match can contain multiple rules joined with AND and OR conditions.

All conditions grouped by the junction AND (AND-Group) must be met concurrently for a group to be validated; if any of the groups joined by the junction OR is validated then the match is validated.

In the example below, a match will be created if the condition of the groupis met OR if the 2 conditions of the groupare.

	Complex ID Match are compatible with Inheritance but not Descendants Check. Since they produce considerably more complex filter, they are also more likely to reach the limit of the grid filtering when selecting a lot of objects.
