Installation Options
To control the installation behaviour the installer can be run with switches as defined here http://www.jrsoftware.org/ishelp/index.php?topic=setupcmdline
In particular you may be interested in switches /SILENT, /VERYSILENT and /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES to deploy installation silently to users.
In addition to the standard switches, you can use extra (optional) parameters to save your users some trouble:
- /serverurl="your server address" to set the environment variable that defines the licence server location. Default is blank
- /licenceDefaultType=Viewer|Author|Admin to set the licence type to get from the server when none was previously set by the user. Default is none, i.e. the user need to explicitly pick one
- /licenceOverrideUserType=True|False to force the /licenceDefaultType to be restored when the user open a new session of BimSens, regardless of the last type used. Default is False
