It doesn't Work!!!!

Having trouble making it work? Checkout the solutions to the most common problems below.

If it still doesn't work, shoot an email to someone from our friendly staff but be more specific than 'It doesn't work', add a screen shot of the error message and put your configuration files, model files, excel files as attachment to the email.

The association between the Grid/Data and the 3D doesn't work

If you are wondering why...

• The Grid and the 3D are not linked, Or
• Clicking on objects in 3D doesn't filter the Grid, Or
• Selecting objects in the Grid doesn't select them in 3D, Or
• Clicking on objects in 3D does filter the Grid but not when using Trap Selection
• Whaaaaat? The Grid and the 3D can be associated and I wasn't even aware of it?!?

Editing the data... doesn't work!

If you are wondering why...

• You can't edit any values anywhere
• You can't edit some values
• You'd like to edit some values
• You didn't know you could edit values
• You changed a value but it is not showing as changed. And then you tried again and it still doesn't change (doesn't work)
• You made a sequence edit change but only the first record of the sequence was changed

The Colour Filter looks wrong (=it doesn't work)

If you are wondering why...

• The Colour is not the right one, Or
• The Colour is slightly different, Or
• Some objects have the right Colour but some other have not been coloured at all
• The objects are not visible Or,
• There is no Colour at all, Or
• You cannot reset the Colour, Or

Missing DataViews, Layout, Columns or other elements in the tree (=it doesn't work)

If you are wondering why...

• Project, DataSource, DataViews or Layout are missing from the Sources Manager Tree, Or
• Columns in the Layout are missing, Or
• The tree is just completely empty, Or
• There is a red warning at the bottom of the tree that you'd rather not read in case it explains what the problem is but your tree is empty so you can't do anything

The Change Notifications do not work

If you are wondering why...

• The Grid is not automatically refreshed and you know for sure 100% positive it should have been, Or
• The Grid is not automatically refreshed and you think maybe it should have been, Or
• The grid is refreshed, but the Colour filter is not re-applied, Or
• The Grid is refreshed and it should not have been, Or
