Creating a Simple ID Match
To create an ID Match, click the Advanced Options 
button, or click the Create or Edit the ID Match link from Options > Match & Trigger
If this is the first time you click this button since you opened the DataNode, it will first load the Properties available on the model to create the Match. With large model this operation can take several minutes but you can cancel it after a few percent (usually around 8-10) and most of the Properties will already be listed.
If objects are selected when you click the button, you will be asked whether you want to list properties of the selected objects only.

Select objects in 3D that have the Property(ies) you need for the ID Match before opening the Advanced Options, listing available properties on selected objects only is considerably faster. |

If the property you need is not available, click the Get More Model Properties button and wait for the full refresh. If you can still not find the property you need, check the Trouble Shooting the Grid and 3D Association section.
The grid and the 3D are now coupled:
is active, selecting row(s) in the grid will trigger the selection of 3D objects where the value of the 3D Property equals the value of the DataView Property for one of the selected row(s)
is active selecting object(s) in 3D will trigger the filtering of the grid to only show object(s) where the DataView Property equals the value of the 3D Property of one of the selected object(s)

Note that other Filters or Search might already apply, resulting in the grid being empty. If no items are showing in the grid try to reset the Filters. If the items are still not showing, check the Trouble Shooting the Grid and 3D Association |
